Art Show

So excited.... My photograph, The Aviary [link] is going to be featured in an art show at my college! I'm in it with 6 other students that I know and god knows what else...we all had to submit a few pieces for consideration and I didn't really think I'd get anything in at a University but mine was chosen and I'm so excited!

Anyways, thanks to everyone on deviantart, really, because without your comments and criticisms and support I probably would never improve or pursue photography or art as much as I do now.

Thank you so much! No, I didn't arrange anything-if you're referring to the Aviary, I think you are, it was a Christmas window display in New York and I was just lucky enough to be there. I see your profile is empty...did you just join?

Yes, well about a week or so ago but I've been doing various things like starting up blogs and working on my novel and digital art and I'm pretty disorganised so... :) Good luck with the university thing too - hope it takes you where you want to go

POSITIVITY is the key, take it from an old guy LOL!! I've spent most of my 46 yrs on planet Earth assuming I wouldn't get anywhere (or agreeing when others have done it) and missing opportunities in the process. It's only recently that I've given myself a confidence make-over (thanks to a couple of kind, inspirational friends) and decided to kick my butt into gear. Anyhow, I'll keep my eye on what you post here. Keep in touch.
